The Redskins were stingy last year, holding opponents to 18.5 points per game. This type of production would hint that they were an elite defense. Although that may have been true in some ways from a real-world perspective, in fantasy terms, they were awful. They only contributed 42 money plays (2.6 per outing) and only scored once. Albert Haynesworth was brought in this offseason to help bolster the defensive line play, which theoretically means more sacks and turnovers, but that's what Jason Taylor was supposed to bring last season. Take a wait-and-see approach with Washington—they're worth having as a bye-week replacement with potential, but don't overvalue them.
