Our Take on Matt Ryan

All you have to know about Matt Ryan is that he threw an incredible 3,440… as a rookie…for the freaking Falcons. I don’t know what else you really need to know!?!? In just one season, Ryan has jumped into the stratosphere of top 10 NFL quarterbacks. If you would have told me before the 2008 season that the hot QB/WR combo would have been Ryan to White, I would have tarred-and-feathered you. Now, those two are being counted on to continue the magic and march the Falcons into the playoffs.
For those of you awaiting a sophomore slump with Ryan, you might want to pack a lunch because it’s going to be a long wait. With the addition of future hall-of-famer Tony Gonzalez, Ryan has one of the most potent weapons in the league. Surrounded by talent in all aspects of the offensive game, Ryan is a sure bet to not only match, but exceed his stats from last season. Of course…I’ve been wrong before.
