Our Take on Kurt Warner

It’s hard to believe that Kurt Warner is back in the Top-5 despite more ups and downs than a roller coaster. However, when you are on a team with Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin and now Steve Breaston, you just can’t lose (kind of makes you wonder what’s wrong with Leinart). The Cardinals boasted not two, but three 1,000 yard receivers which is a truly amazing feat. As long as Warner stays healthy (which is always a risk) he can’t lose. It’s just not possible.
Even if Boldin gets his way and gets away from Arizona, Warner has pieces that can pick up the slack. That’s not to say that Boldin won’t be missed and Warner’s number won’t go down, it’s just hard to imagine Stever Breaston, with his success in 2008, not being able to fill-in admirably. If Larry Fitzgerald stays healthy and happy, Kurt Warner will always be near the top of the QB heap.
