It’s finally safe to say: Aaron Rodgers is not Brett Favre and that’s a good thing. IN his first full-season as the Packers’ QB, there were many questions about how Rodgers would do. Rodger answered all those questions and then some. I don’t think anyone expected his 4,038 yard, 28 TDs rampage which had people saying “Brett who?” Greg Jennings and Donald Driver were the main beneficiaries of Rodgers success logging 1,000 yard season apiece making them a lucrative WR combo that the rest of the league has stood up to notice.
Considering that Rodgers has been waiting and studying under Favre for three long seasons, I think it’s safe to say that his second season shouldn’t have much of a drop-off. The Packers have kept their core offensive players in place and are ready to make a run at the playoffs. And who do you think is going to lead them there? Not Brett Favre.
