Orlando Pace is nearing the end of his All-Pro career. Nicks is an extremely talented OT, who slips because of some concerns over his motor. He has a lot of sheer talent and could be a steal in the 3rd round.
  66. -
Kansas City would like to add a speedster to compliment Dwayne Bowe. Caldwell has tremendous speed and is a nice value here at this spot for a Kansas City team that is very shallow at WR.
  67. -
Forte is a bruising RB with nice 4.47 speed to match. I like him here as a physical compliment to DeAngelo Williams. Carolina really could use another RB now that DeShaun Foster is gone.
  68. -
Chevis Jackson doesn't run as fast as others, but in pads he was one of the better CB's in football last year. After losing DeAngelo Hall CB depth is needed.
  69. -
Zuttah is the versatile type of O Lineman that the Pats absolutely love. He projects to fill in at C and OG and can be a valuable back-up and future starter. Zuttah had a real nice Combine and the Pats are definitely going to look to solidify their O Line, which was over matched in the Super Bowl.
  70. -
San Francisco would like to add quality depth on their O Line and Toledo is versatile enough to play OT and OG.
  71. -
Harrison falls into Round 3 because of character and effort concerns. The Jaguars will need more depth at DT with the departure of Marcus Stroud and Harrison is a great fit for them. I see Jacksonville taking a flyer on him as his talent is definitely better than the 3rd round.
  72. -
Buffalo can afford to add the best Center in the draft at this juncture and would be wise to do so. Pollack is a skilled technician who showed everyone at the Combine that he is the best Center in this class.
  73. -
I am not sold on the Tavaris Jackson era. Woodson is not without faults himself, but I am willing to bet 2 years from now he is better than Tavaris Jackson. I think Woodson has a nice arm and I love how he battled in the ultra competitive SEC and made a team like Kentucky relevant. In college he was excellent at not turning the ball over. Physically he is nice, he just needs to be coached up a bit and without the pressure of starting right away I think he can develop nicely. A nice addition in the middle of round 3.
  74. -
Opposite Chris Harris the Panthers are low on Safety help. DeCoud has all the physical tools and had a nice Senior campaign that warrants him 3rd round status.
  75. -
I love Ray Rice. I love how he battled for an often overmatched Rutgers team, and I love his productivity with numerous 100 + yard games. He ran well at the Combine, but his small size may keep him out of Day One. He is no Maurice Jones-Drew, but he could be a significant contributor and someone to light a fire under disappointing Cedric Benson if he were to fall to Chicago where RB is a need. Look for Rice to contribute early to any team he goes to, and if it is here he stands a fighter's chance of one day winning the job.
  76. -
The Lions need quality at R OT. Collins is a nice prospect with upside. He pojects to be a R OT, which is exactly what the doctor ordered in Detroit, as that position was a revolving door last year.
  77. -
Even if Chad Johnson eventually backs off his trade demand, I still think that WR is a need with the release of Chris Henry. Hawkins had a terrific Senior Bowl and as a #3 WR he has great value here in Round 3 for a team that loves to air it out.
  78. -
The Saints are old and ineffective at DT. Simms falls on my board because he showed a lack of strength at the Combine, but he can certainly play, and is a real nice value in round 3.
  79. -
THIS PICK IS ACTUALLY TYVONN BRANCH, CB OUT OF UCONN The biggest need for Houston is in their Secondary. Branch is under the radar because he plays for the UCONN Huskies, but he is a gamer with terrific speed and is versatile enough to play Safety. With Dunta Robinson's 2008 season in jeopardy a strong contributor is needed alongside Fred Bennett at CB.
  80. -
This is no reach in Round 3 as the Eagles would love to find an insurance policy behind 30 + year old book ends Runyan and Thomas. Winston Justice was awful in relief last year and a quality back-up OT is a high need for Philly.
  81. -
I think this would be a big time steal for Arizona here in Round 3. I am really high on Charles because I love his speed as he can really accelerate, especially if he gets a crease. He was tremendous at Texas and would be a nice compliment and ultimate replacement for Edgerrin James, who is nearing the end of his wonderful NFL career.
  82. -
I feel for this guy. He has a potential late first round grade and he tears his ACL at the Combine. Watching tape on him, he was a tremendous CB who played physical. Minnesota will see this as a value pick as he most likely will not play this year, but eventually could become a starter for a Minnesota Secondary that is in need of more talent.
  83. -
Tampa Bay could use an infusion of youth and depth to their D Line. Fluellen is a local product, and is nice value in round 3.
  84. -
Washington wanted a big WR and this is by far the best one available. Jerome Simpson has all of the tools that make scouts drool, but he is extremely raw. Washington can invest into a guy like this now and hope it pays dividends in a couple of years.
  85. -
Cousins is a nice fit for Tennessee as they need depth at OT and OG. Cousins projects to be either a R OT or an OG at the next level and can add much needed help. Cousins has a lot potential as he has long arms, great feet and natural athletic ability. He is a bit of a project, but very worthy in the late 3rd round.
  86. -
Schuening is not anything falshy at all, he is a gutty OG who is durable, strong and great at contact and can be an asset in the run game. Seattle needs some depth and youth at OG.
  87. -
Detroit would like to add a Tampa 2 ILB to their Defense and I think Wheeler can accomplish that need. Wheeler is a nice hitter with good range and instincts. However, his timed speed is an issue, but in round 3 I think he can be plugged in and contend for the starting job in Detroit at ILB.
  88. -
The Steelers went Offensive Line in Day One and I have them staying Offensive minded here in Round 3. Royal is a nice player who posted sub 4.4 40 numbers at the combine, even more importantly he looked sharp in drills, which was his knock that he isn't a good enough pass catcher. He adds value also in the return game, where he is arguably the best KR in this class. A nice vertical threat for Big Ben.
  89. -
I have the Jaguars going for Defensive value here as Xavier Adibi is too good to slip past them. Jacksonville has decent OLB's in place but could afford to bring in competition for Daryl Smith and Clint Ingram. Adibi has nice range and is a good athlete. I think he can be a starter at the next level.
  90. -
The Bears lost their #1 & #2 option at WR in Berrian & Muhammed and need to start restocking. Jordy Nelson is a player I really like as I think his 4.5 40 for his nearly 6'3 muscular frame is pretty good. He is going to be a possesion WR at the next level, but that is a positive thing in Chicago where they rely on the run.
  91. -
Green Bay needs depth at OG and McGlynn looks like a Cheesehead lineman. He is strong and plays well at his size. He also has a bit of a nasty streak, which is good if you are going to be playing in freezing cold weather at Lambeau in December. His value also is in that he can legitimately play anywhere on the Offensive line.
  92. -
Bryant is really the best Nose Tackle prospect in this class and will probably be over-drafted because of that. Dallas can afford him in the end of round 3 as he is a big body that can occupy space in their 3-4 scheme. Tank Johnson did well there last year, but it never hurts to have more big DT's in your stable.
  93. -
Kevin Smith is by far better than the 93rd player in this draft, and him slipping this far speaks more volumes to the lack of need for RB in this year's draft class. At 6'1 and 210 lbs, Smith is an elusive runner who has terrific vision and was extremely productive in college. He has nice hands out of the backfield (plus for Indy) and is an all around solid player. Joseph Addai could use a steady back-up to keep him fresh and Smith would be a nice fit in Indy.
  94. -
Booty is a smart QB who was well coached at USC. Depth behind Brady has to be a concern for the pass happy Patriots as Matt Cassell would have backed up Booty at USC. Booty is NFL ready, has tremendous poise and is a nice value here in Round 3 as insurance. Plus New England has shown a knack for liking USC QB's.
  95. -
I had the G Men going with Reggie Smith in Round 2, but that was specifically for Safety. In Round 3 I have them getting younger at CB. Scandrick is the best available on my board and he gives them more talent at CB where Sam Madison and RW McQuarters are long in the tooth. Aaron Ross seems to be the real deal, but outside of him are aging veterans and Corey Webster who had a nice playoff run, but was torched during the regular season.
