By far the third best passer in the draft, he's not in the class of Stafford or Sanchez, but after after Freeman it's a long drop in quality too the #4 QB. He has Jamarcus Russell size, and is a little rough around the edges mechanically. He might not have the instant success of the top two, but he will get there eventually. The Jets have to do something at QB and they very well may have to trade up to make this pick. 6'6" 248 4.90

Jenkins stock has dropped since teams think his lack of top end speed may result in him having to be moved to safety. He'll fit in very well with the Broncos. At one point thought of as a top five pick, he'd be a steal this late. 6'0" 204 4.51 15 benches

Fleet WR coming out of the Missouri spread offense. The Bucs need to replace departed Joey Galloway. It may take a redshirt type year for him to get acclimated to pro style offense. He also offers great return ability. 6'0" 198 4.45

Another chance for the the Lions to put some people back in the seats after the 0-16 debacle. Kevin Smith showed promise last year, behind him is former Seahawks journeyman Maurice Morris. You need at least two good backs in this league. I know their defense is bad, but then again, so is the whole team. Add last years leading Georgia rusher with excellent pass skills and re-team him Matt Stafford in the pros. Pick defense next year. 5'11" 217 4.50 25 benches

Britton is the top Right tackle in the draft and Philly's starting tackles have either left via UFA or are coming off serious injuries. Very intelligent guy. He could have been there at #28, but the Eagles traded that pick to Buffalo. Backup Winston Justice is not the answer. Osi Umenyiora made him look like a turnstile. You know the Eagles like to draft big people. That's a big reason for their success. Donovan McNabb always lobbies for more play makers, but the team sticks to their philosophy. 6'6" 309 5.14 24 benches

Top rated center is the replacement for Matt Birk. Mack had a solid career at Cal. He is a particularly good run blocker. A top scholar athlete, he should have no problem making line calls @ the NFL level. Excellent size. He did not do benches at the combine, but only lifted 20 presses @ his pro day. 6'4" 311 5.12 20 benches

The Patriots are not afraid to take a guy ( Jerrod Mayo) earlier than they are touted if they think he's their guy! 6'4" 295 run stuffer defensive end. Ideal left end. he was the captain of LSU team loaded with talent. He is not a great pass rusher. His stock has risen like a rocket the last couple of weeks!! 6'4" 296 4.94

Delmas was not a big name in college playing at Western Michigan. Very agressive guy who is now the number one rated safety in the draft. Will need an NFL weight training program to improve his strength. Delmas should start as a rookie. Western Michigan's pro day was mostly attended by teams picking at the top of the second round. Replacement for Lawyer Milloy. I originally had Pettigrew going here, but the Tony Gonzalez trade has eliminated that possibility. 6'0 202 4.52 12 benches

The best tight end blocking prospect in the last ten years. The Dolphins philosophy has changed since Bill Parcells has taken over , personnel is now looking for mean blockers, Pettigrew fits the bill. If they pass on him here, he won't fall any further than #28 to the Bills. 6'6" 263 4.80 22 benches

Ran a 4.3 flat at the combine. It was obvious in the playoff game against Pittsburgh that receiver is a position in need of an upgrade. Derrick Mason is near the end of the line. A speed receiver would take lots of pressure off of Joe Flacco. The only question on Heyward-Bey is he is raw talent. He caught 46 passes his senior year because Maryland doesn't run a high powered passing attack. I don't think he'll go any higher than this spot. 6'2" 210 4.25 16 benches

Defensive tackle is a huge weak spot for the Colts. If Jerry is there @#27 this pick is a no-brainer. Instant huge upgrade at the position. He is clearly the second best DT available behind B.J Raji, and he moves real well for a big guy. 6'2" 299 4.98

Pick now belong to Buffalo thru Jason Peters trade to the Eagles. The Bills have a huge need at Tackle now and look for Beatty to be their starting right tackle on opening day. Led Donald Brown to the NCAA rushing title. Langston Walker will likely be moved to the left side to take Peters spot. 6'6" 307 5.06 27 benches

Giants need a replacement for Plaxico Burress. Nicks has good size and very good hands. He doesn't have the elite speed of Darius Heyward-Bey but overall is a more polished player. Reportedly has gained 25 pounds since the combine and couldn't finish some of the drills in private workouts because he was to gassed to finish. 6'1" 212 4.51
  30. -
The Titans need to stock up on D-Line, they've lost several players to free agency over the last couple of years. English is a fast rising prospect who may be a hybrid DE/LB. Two time defensive player of the year in his conference, how high he goes will be determined by his ability to show teams he can be a linebacker. 6'2" 255 4.82 24 benches
  31. -
Beanie's stock dropped at the combine. He wasn't impressive at anything in particular and he didn't run a blazing forty. Arizona needs a back even if they keep Edgerrin James (Probably not for long). Tim Hightower showed some promise, but I don't think he is a featured back. J.J. Arrington left as a UFA. 6'1" 235 4.53 25 benches
  32. -
The Steelers may go CB after losing Bryant McFadden to free agency, but most likely will take the best O-Lineman available. Robinson is the best Guard in the draft. Pittsburgh currently only has two Guards on their roster. 6'5" 329 5.32
  Picks 1-16 | 17-32 | 33-48 | 49-64 | 65-96 | 97-128 | 129-160 | 161-192 | 193-224
