With Roy Williams gone the Lions need an adequate starter opposite him. Robiskie didn't have a productive senior year, but he did have a great showing at the combine. He's a very polished WR and is more than capable of serving as a #2 or slot WR. He has good hands and runs good routes. His lack of top end speed is what keeps him out of the 2nd round.

The Rams still need help at CB since Tye Hill or any of the other guys they have started have panned out. The Rams will still likely be running a Cover 2 based scheme and Harris would fit perfectly in that system. He's a great tackler and has great instincts and hands. He's just not very fast which is why he's available here.

Pioli knows he will need a strong pass rush from his OLB's to successfully convert to a 3-4 defense. Kruger helped Utah go undefeated last season by constantly putting pressure on the QB, even if he didn't always come away with the sack. He also batted a lot of passes down as he has ideal height at 6'4" with long arms. He is stout enough to play straight up against the run but doesn't have great straight line speed, which is why he's available with this pick.

Knox is one player that is built to take advantage of C. Palmer's huge arm. Knox ran a 4.34 at the combine and posted over 1000 yards and over 18 yards/catch each of his last two years in college. He didn't go against elite competition which is why he won't go past the 2nd round, but he is a willing blocker and should really help this offense.
