It will be very interesting to see where the Lions go with this pick. Luckily they were able to get a 1st and 3rd from the Cowboys for Roy Williams and can address their poor defense and offensive line. Here they will target their future QB. Right now Stafford is the top QB in the draft and will probably go because of his big arm and potential.

When Steve Spagnuolo was giving his first press conference after getting the job said that they wanted to establish the run. Andre Smith is the best run blocker in the draft. They could plug Smith in at RT or one of the guards spots.
  3. -
It looks more and more like their new head coach is going to be Todd Haley from the Cardinals. A lot of people are predicting them to take Mark Sanchez with this pick, but with Pioli coming from New England where they look to get QB's late (Drew Bledsoe was there before he came). Even some say that Haley develops QB's, but Romo was not even drafted either. They need help on defense and Curry is the top defensive player in the draft and would fit in any defensive scheme they want to run.

I've had them going with Crabtree for a while and still think that he could be there pick, but they seem to be very high on Raji and they are rumored to be a player for Housch. If they are able to get him that would make the selection of Raji more likely.

The Browns could use a ILB like Curry or Maualuga, but their secondary is thin and could use an upgrade. There had been some concerns about his speed, however he is still the top CB prospect in the draft and the former Buckeye would be welcome in his home state.
  6. -
The Bengals could look at Crabtree if they lose Housch to another team, but because of issues along the offensive line they could look to sure up the line. Smith's stock has been rising and is probably the number one LT in the draft.
  7. -
The Raiders would be ecstatic if Crabtree where to fall to them at this position. Then they would have a young nucleolus of Russell, McFadden/Bush, and Crabtree.
  8. -
David Garrard's number of INT went up last year and a big reason to that was his protection. Monroe is the guy that kept Brandon Albert at LG and not LT which he is playing now.

With the Pack moving to the 3-4 they will be looking to see where their current players fit and what positions need to be addressed. They would love to have BJ Raji or Malcolm Jenkins fall to them here, but with both gone they can look to get the best 3-4 rush linebacker in the draft.

The 49ers QB's are either backups or "system" guys. Sanchez had a good year in his first year as the starter and really excelled in the Rose Bowl which sent his stock soaring. With a good combine and pro day he could challenge Stafford for the top spot, but with Stafford's arm strength Sanchez will probably stay at #2.

The Bills have added some young good pieces to their team. They have their running back in Lynch, QB in Edwards, WR in Parrish Evans and Hardy, now they can get a play maker at TE. Pettigrew is an excellent receiving threat and he can also stay in and block along the offensive line.
  12. -
Maualuga brings a swagger to what even defense he is on. He would be a good fit as a 3-4 ILB because he is so good against the run and they can hide some of his weaknesses in pass coverage.
  13. -
During training camp last year both of their starting defensive ends went down with season ending injuries. That prompted them to go out and get Jason Taylor. They still struggled to get pressure on the QB and bringing in a young DE would be a good choice.
  14. -
The Saints continue to have problems with their corner backs and are again looking for help. Davis is considered by most to be the second best CB in the draft and could find himself in New Orleans.
  15. -
The Texans would love to get a CB or S, but can't pass up an explosive pass rusher like English. He exploded and had one of the best workouts during the Senior Bowl.
  16. -
The Chargers would probably love to have BJ Raji fall to them, but with that seeming unlikely they could go after Jackson who would fit in as a 3-4 defensive end very well.
