| The Dolphins' offensive line has been playing fairly well, so they probably won't go with Jake Long here. However, the defensive line is old and hasn't been playing as good. Plus, there's talk of trading Jason Taylor for picks, which would make it even weaker. Thus, the Dolphins will probably pick up Glenn Dorsey and his slew of awards. He dominates the line of scrimmage and would help the Dolphins' defense in all aspects. |

| Long's stock has been dropping a little bit as of late, but the Rams desperately need offensive line help, as seen this year. They don't really have any solid linemen besides Orlando Pace, who is can't stay healthy at all, so the Rams should take Long to solidify the tackle spot opposite Alex Barron. Long is a solid blocker who isn't quite as good as Joe Thomas was last year. |

| The Raiders might be too excited to see McFadden's name still on the board here to take anyone else. Even though the running game has been pretty good this season, imagine what Darren McFadden could do for it. He does everything you could ask a running back to do, and with JaMarcus Russell at QB, the Raiders could have an amazing offense for a long time to come. |
| |
| The Chiefs would love to be able to pick up an offensive lineman here, but there aren't any of good value, so they'll have to address their defense. Ellis is the next best DT in this draft and he was anchored one of the best defenses in college football. He has good size, power, and no character concerns. He can be disruptive in the middle. |
| |
| With Bobby Petrino gone, there will be no more talk of the Falcons taking Brian Brohm here, and probably the real number one QB in the draft will go first. Ryan is pretty much adequate everywhere you look, but he really shines with his intangibles. He reads defenses well, is intelligent, and is a great leader. He is also tough and has a good work ethic. With the emergence as Roddy White as a receiver for the Falcons, Ryan will have someone to help him out on the field. |
| |
| Long is a perfect fit for the Jets' 3-4 defense, and he has experience in this role in college. Long is great against both the pass and the run, has a solid motor, and has a great combination of size, power, and quickness. |

7.
New England Patriots
- |
| The Patriots are in a perfect spot here to pick up the best LB in this draft. Laurinaitis is a solid all around linebacker who has good size and intangibles. He's a good tackler, is instinctive, and would be a perfect for Tedy Bruschi. |
| |
| Steve McNair's career will finally be ending soon, and unless the Ravens really see something in Troy Smith, they'll probably be looking for a QB this offseason. Brohm has physically almost everything you look for and looks adequate across the board. He has a lot of experience and wouldn't have much trouble stepping in right away and contributing some. |
| |
| Gholston has shot up draft boards as his physical gifts have begun to show themselves. He is big enough to play defensive end and fast enough to play outisde in a 3-4 scheme, and he has produced the past few years. He has a great combination of strength and quickness. |

10.
New Orleans Saints
- |
| The Saints could really use another cornerback, as it looks like the addition of Jason David hasn't helped their secondary. Jenkins probably won't ever be an elite Champ Bailey-type cornerback, but he has all of the physical tools you look for and will be another in the long line of solid Ohio State cornerbacks in this league. |
| |
| Rivers would be a solid pickup for the Bills, whose defense just hasn't been very productive this season. Although undersized, Rivers' speed, tenacity, and coverage ability make up for it. He can tackle well, is instinctive, and would fit in well in the Bills' defense, which lost its two best linebackers last season. |
| |
| Phillips has a great blend of size and speed and can play equally well against the run and pass. He has great range against the deep ball and could be groomed to replace John Lynch or step in as a strong safety to solidify the spot opposite him. |
| |
| The Panthers could definitely use a QB here but since John Fox's job is in jeopardy, he will probably want to pick someone up who can contribute right away. This is a little high for Connor, whose draft stock keeps fluctuating, but his addition would solidify the Panthers' linebacking corps for years to come. He's got a good motor, tackles well, and plays aggressively. Equally good against the run and the pass, Connor would really help the Panthers' average defense. |
| |
| Woodson is a solid quarterback who makes few mistakes, which is what the Bears need. He's athletic but he has great size and arm strength as well. With his strength and some of the Bears' receivers speed, he'd fit in very well in Chicago. If he falls this far, the Bears will be lucky. He probably has the most upside out of any of the top 3 quarterbacks in this draft. |
| |
| This is a little bit high for Jenkins, but he's been steadily moving up draft boards and if he runs well there's no reason for him not to go this high. He is a great cornerback who is fluid and makes all of the plays you'd ask of him. He also has good size and plays physically. He'd instantly be one of the better defensive backs on the Lions' roster, who struggled this year at times without Dre' Bly. |
| |
| The Cardinals are trying to move to a 3-4 defense and they need to add some solid pass rushing linebackers to transition effectively. Harvey is a phenomenal athlete and is a dominant pass rusher. He needs to gain some weight and learn to anchor against the run better to be an effective defensive end, but he'd be a perfect fit for an OLB. He would really help out the secondary with his pass rushing abilities. |
